The keizerstraat project was a intresting assignment. Although not much documentation exist and the project didn't came through in the end it still formed a interesting learning experience. The keizerstraat project was a creathon organised by the municipality of Deventer. The creathon was meant to tackle a problem brought with the renovation of the train station area and surrounding park and streets.

The Keizerstraat itself is the main entrance to Deventer, everyone who needs to most likely uses it to get acces to the city center. Therefore, you would say this street matches it's time and offers easy acces suitable for different kinds of traffic. You would, however, be wrong to assume this. The Keizerstraat is a old outdated street which hasn't changed accordingly with the other innovation and renovations in the city. It is still used for trucks and other kinds of bigger vehicles to supply stores and restaurants located in the city center. This is done early so it doesn't conflict with other traffic but it leads to a strange layout in the road and surroundings.
